In reply to Joanie. Hello. The recipe is listed as such because if the lentils are not too old, it does take about an hour. The computer calculates the time and can’t post a range. As with any cooking, there are variables that effect cooking times.

Why is cooking time listed as an hour when the final simmer is 45mins to an hour itself?
