I want to make these for a brunch tomorrow. If I make today, should I cook completely, put in refrigerator overnight, and reheat tomorrow? Or assemble today and cook tomorrow? Thank you!

Ciao Silvio. I’m glad that you like the adaptation. I put a teeny Bolognese touch in there with the mortadella! It’s such a delicious dish. I love going to the market in Modena and seeing the different versions. Happy cooking!

I made this today, and though it is a bit labour intensive, it is worth every bit of work! Wow! So good! I used prosciutto and pancetta for the meats (just because I love those flavours) and it came out great! We will definitely be making this again! Maybe with some mushrooms next time? Yum!

Hi there Elisa! Thank you! Absolutely it would work. I do that often when I use Asiago cheese. I hope you enjoy the recipe!

Hi Tina,

I love your recipes! I really want to make this one, but here in Brazil I only find Fontina in large pieces in some specialized markets, not in slices (and I don't have a slicer at home). Do you think it would work if I grated the Fontina?
